About

Samantha began her journey into the entertainment industry at the
young age of seven, modeling on the runway for a fashion show at The
Mississauga Centre For The Performing Arts.

Her love of performance resulted in the acquisition of an agent herself,
and a number of roles in modeling, TV and film followed, including spots
with Coca-Cola and Sears.

Quickly becoming an ACTRA performer, Samantha also decided to
further her education in the field working at a talent agency.
She worked placing talent in the city’s top productions, among them The
Lion King’s Stage Production, and Degrassi: The Next Generation.
After deciding to open The Rose Group Talent Management in 2003, she
was instrumental in helping her talent achieve apprenticeship and
union status, and was a member of The Entertainment Industry
Coalition (EIC). Samantha also sat on the board of the EIC Agent
Association, the EICAA.

Today, her current agency, founded in 2009, The Casting Solution, is
focused on supporting Canada’s diverse talent roster, who along with
clients and business partners, are secure in the knowledge that they are
dealing with a reputable agency that puts their talent first.
